Potential No. 1 pick Deandre Ayton worked out for the Suns on Wednesday and it’s beginning to seem like a match made in heaven. The Arizona product was adamant that he’d prefer to remain in-state and play for Phoenix, which owns the top pick in the NBA draft.

“I know I’m going No. 1,” Ayton told reporters after his workout, according to the Arizona Republic’s Clevis Murray.

The 7-foot-1 center added he will not be working out for any other team, with plenty of speculation suggesting Phoenix will draft Ayton and pair him with star guard Devin Booker. via TheScore
