Raptors 905, the NBA Developmental League affiliate of the Toronto Raptors, announced Thursday its opening night roster.  Zeke Marshall, Greg Morrow, Ethan O’Day, Kendall Williams and Jeremiah Williams were waived to reduce the roster to 12 players.

In its inaugural season, Raptors 905 played to a record of 23-27, finishing third in the Atlantic Division.

Three players are returning after spending time with the club last season, E.J. Singler, John Jordan (2016 NBA D-League Dunk Champion) and Axel Toupane (2016 NBA D-League Most Improved Player).  Two Canadians are on the opening night roster, returning rights player Brady Heslip (Burlington, Ontario) and local tryout player Negus Webster-Chan (Scarborough, Ontario).

The team will embark on its second campaign beginning with a season-high six game homestand, including match-ups against each of the NBA Developmental Leagues three expansion franchises. The season will begin on November 18 against Greensboro at 7:30 PM. via Raptors905.com
