This week Nike Crown League hosted a special send-off moment for the Women’s National Basketball Team on the Crown League court. Set to represent Canadian basketball talent, this was the last moment that the Canadian women’s team had on a Toronto court before departing for the Rio Olympics.
CIA Bounce and Northern Kings were geared up in Canadian-themed jerseys to honor the Women’s team that will be representing Canada in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
With week 4 complete, only 2 weeks remain where six of Toronto’s best teams will leave it all on the court as they look to dethrone the reigning champions, 1LoveTO. Three back-to-back games will take place next Friday night (6:30 PM, 8:00 PM and 9:30 PM). Basketball fans from across the city are welcomed to attend.
